Performance & Reporting Specialist

The position

The experienced Performance Analyst is responsible for performance measurement and investment reporting to institutional clients and for the complete and accurate reporting to the clients. The aim of the Investment Risk Performance department is to produce the investment data as efficient as possible and to convert into clear information for our customers. The team is continuously challenged to improve existing products and processes to achieve recognition by clients for high quality services.

Responsibilities

The Performance Analyst should be experienced in working with SimCorp Dimension. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for the production of reports to Dutch institutional clients and to make sure data consistency, delivery deadlines, delivery channels and sales requirements are operated under sharp monitoring. Given the nature of the client focused business, there is a close corporation with clients and other global and local teams.

The Performance Analyst Has Full Accountability For The Following

• Ensure complete, timely and accurate reporting to clients and regulators
• Maintain a client focus and obtain high level of client satisfaction
• Be the first point of contact for Dutch clients regarding reporting and performance queries
• Be on top of changes in legislation and market practices with regard to performance measurement and client reporting
• Participate in migration and onboarding projects and analyze developments in the field of performance and investment reporting
• Implement new products and maintenance of systems and reports in close cooperation with both local and global teams
• Contribute to achievement of exceptionally good operational results for clients
• Receive recognition of high quality service from clients
• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of the market and monitoring market movements
• Assist in the development of the business by analyzing and helping to evaluate impact of market changes

Requirements

Type of education required:

• Bachelor’s or University degree in Finance, Economics, Applied Economics, Econometrics or equivalent 
  

Type Of Experience Required

• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in performance measurement and investment reporting for institutional clients and regulators
• Knowledge on investment strategies, reporting systems, investment procedures
• Ability to develop efficient working relationships with various stakeholders abroad and locally
• Understanding of business needs of major international & domestic investment institutions and their objectives in using the bank’s products
  

Key Technical Skills / knowledge; general competencies:

• Experienced in SimCorp Dimension
• Strong technical skills (mainly Excel, Visual Basic and SQL
• Preferably experience in Crystal Reports
• Profound knowledge of equity and fixed income products as well as derivatives
• Organisational skills and ability to work autonomously
• Knowledge of Dutch securities market practices and regulations
• Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
